Wazzap?

Going up to CTC 202 wasn’t fun on the first day. I was leaving my beloved blockmates from Block T and meeting a whole new group of people from R-49. I was the only one from Block T in our english block and that really…well…it sucked. I was feeling quite anti-social on the first day and truth be told, I was already expecting my english block to be losers compared to my blockmates from Block T.

I was wrong and I’m sorry to everyone for judging you guys before I even got to know all of you! :))

First sem English? EN11? Let me see…um…all I seriously remember was: ZZZZZ….

Second semester came and I heard that we had a new teacher! :D Such a huge improvement and lots more fun came. First day of the second sem, I was already known in the block for sleeping every English time and well as soon as Ms. Frances learned about it, she kept an eye on me whenever I yawned. Fortunately, there was no reason to yawn anymore during En12! From writing exercises, to research papers, blogging and Ms. Frances making “kwento” about her accident prone moments, I’m sure us R-49-ers have always looked forward to English time in our wonderfully air-conditioned room, CTC102!

That room holds so much hilarious moments. And it is one of the most coveted rooms in CTC since it’s on the first floor plus it has air conditioning. So, it came to no surprise when another English block tried to take that room away from R-49! Thankfully, Ma’am Lloredo fought hard for that room and we are forever grateful to her for that! Lit class was a time to chill, except on Fridays, when we had to rush to borrow books for DEAR sessions! My most favorite Lit meetings were the Hamlet plays. Fo’ shizzle mah nizzle!!! Hamlet from the ‘hood! Only in R-49 would you get an interpretation of Hamlet as a brother from the ‘hood!

These are just a few memories I have from R-49! I just realized how lucky I am that I’m the only one from Block T who’s in R-49! I got to meet more people, make more friends and create more memories. It’s been an amazing year! Would you believe? We’re all sophomores now! :D

I don’t want to post a sweet blog or a sappy touching goodbye one…It’s too early for that don’t you think?

I know I’ll be seeing you all around school. See ya’ around mah dawgs! Fo’ real!

P.S. I posted the Hamlet pics in my multiply! www.hazelnuticecream.multiply.com Steal as many pics as you want! Peace out! :)) *can’t get enuf of the ‘hood* :p

The Mind’s Dictionary

March 2, 2008 at 4:56 pm (hazel)

A look into my mind’s own exclusive dictionary…~Processing the word “annoying”…5%…15%…55%…75%…100%

Definition: An adjective that refers to an individual whose company other people want to avoid since his/her choice of words or actions bring about irritation and dislike. It is a fitting description to those who are unaware that their personality causes discomfort to those human beings they are constantly with. There may be times that these people are accepted, but then, there is always a point where they cross the line. Read the rest of this entry »

Against the Wall

February 25, 2008 at 6:47 pm (hazel)

“I’m OK. You don’t have to worry about me. *insert a smile*”

My dear reader, how familiar is this statement to you? I’m sure every one of us has used this line at least more than once in our life. And I’m also willing to bet my life that we’ve never really meant it at the time. Sometimes, we prefer to put up a wall of perfect happiness just to keep people from seeing the hurt and mixed up emotions we’ve bottled inside of our beings. It seems to us an act of being unselfish, since we do this to keep others from being muddled up with our confusing self.

Waffle Lady to the Rescue

February 17, 2008 at 7:27 pm (hazel)

A friend of mine once asked me to go “stalking” with him in the cafeteria. I automatically rejected this invitation telling him that I am not and never shall be a stalker (unless of course we’re talking about Johnny Depp). What surprised me was that he was actually planning on stalking the belgian waffles of the Waffle Time stall, not any human being, but a piece of waffle with chocolate filling oozing out in every bite.
